The Architecture and Integration Group balances advocating for customer needs by ensuring the safety and stability of Vanderbilt’s informatics solutions.  Specifically, it supports the HealthIT governance process by ensuring proposed and existing tools will function as designed in the overall VUMC universe. The group helps guide both newly introduced solutions or modifications to existing products through required processes in order to prepare them for launch. For example, team members review interconnectivity and downstream impacts on other products. Additionally, the Architecture and Integration Group strengthens future planning efforts by developing product roadmaps and monitoring emerging technologies.
