Scheduling patients, getting authorizations from insurance companies, easing admittance to the hospital—these are some of the many crucial tasks performed by the robust tools managed by the Patient Access & Revenue Cycle (PARC) Group. The team oversees multiple modules within eStar, VUMC’s customized version of Epic, as well as other specialty applications.
The PARC team performs work including application updates and fixes, implementation of new products, customization of vendor-provided solutions, and tailored upgrades to existing solutions. The team manages applications related to:
